3-Minute Thesis about Type 1 Diabetes


Gina Cranson was second place in the 3-Minute Thesis Competition within the School of Medicine and Public Health heat at the University of Newcastle, NSW.

This competition is held annually and challenges PhD and Masters candidates to explain their research project within 3-minutes to a general audience.

Gina Cranson is a PhD Candidate affiliated with DAP+ under the supervision of Professor Alexis Hure and Professor Shamasunder Acharya and her research focuses on ‘Exploring the realities of type 1 diabetes: health system strategies for managing patient depression, distress and burnout’.
